Purely Cornish now stocking Tarquin's Gin and Pastis
Purely Cornish are now stocking Tarquin's Cornish Gin and Pastis it is made by an independent, family company handcrafting Gin and Pastis in tiny batches (the old-fashioned way) by the coast of north Cornwall.
At the heart of our process lies a special, flame-fired, copper pot still called Tamara, goddess of the Tamar.
Together with a harmonious balance of precision and flair, they are able to produce spirits that are truly exceptional.
Tarquin, the founder, pioneer and head distiller is so proud of what he create that he puts his name on every bottle.

Purely Cornish open for business
Its been a wild week in Looe with all the storms and high spring tides, Purely Cornish have been very lucky and have not flooded, although it was very close on Monday morning within a few inches of the shop door.

Purely Cornish is know stocking Alpaca sausages and burgers, Alpaca meat is lean and tender, with a taste similar to beef, although almost sweet. It is low in fat and cholesterol, and high in protein, making it the perfect alternative for the health conscious carnivore!
The Alpaca meat meat all comes from Hendra Farm a traditional smallholding set deep in the South East Cornwall countryside. The welfare of their livestock and the environment is a passion - they pride themselves on the care and attention of their animals and birds receive on a daily basis. Their reputation speaks for itself!

Grandads Sweet Pea's
Grandad has grown some lovely sweet pea's for Purely Cornish in his garden at Herodsfoot.
They smell absolutely wonderful and have brightened up the shop but they will soon be coming to and end unfortunately.

Beast Of Bodmin Moor Cornish Fire Mustard
Our best selling mustard by far this year has been 'Beast of Bodmin Moor Mustard' made at Berrio Mill by Ivan & Caroline. A must of a mustard for chilli fans! This hot mustard will liven up a juicy steak or a Burger so great for BBQ's.
Check out on ITV the new series of Hungry Sailors. Berrio Mill are one of selected Cornish Food producers, the program shows filming of how local Cornish produce is made and used in various cooking demonstrations.
The Hungry Sailors programme featuring Berrio Mill Mustards and hopefully the real stars their wonderful Kunekune pigs. The show goes out at 2.00pm this Thursday 4th July.
